Our Story

Stella Coffee Company started as a dream between two friends (Alyssa and Madie) who wanted to create a welcoming space to gather, eat, and drink within the Reno community.

Originally Dreamer’s, then JoStella, Stella Coffee comes from a long lineage of locally-owned Mid-Town coffee shops and has maintained its original location on the corner of Virginia Street and St. Lawrence Avenue in the heart of midtown.

At Stella Coffee Company, we hope you come, stay awhile, and come back over and over again. Our patrons are our friends and family, and we want everyone to feel welcomed when they walk through our doors.

We hire local students and pride ourselves on being active supporters of the midtown, Reno, and Northern Nevada community.
